How TickMe Work

TickMe is the new revolution in social networking. Within the unique network of general user groups and private communities, you can send messages, instant chat and share photos with people you already know or people you don't (yet!).

But here's the fun bit: Wouldn't it be cool if you could find out if any of those people you've got your eye on at school, work, uni, or wherever have noticed or liked you too, without the risk of revealing your own feelings and being knocked back? The simple game behind TickMe let's you do just that. Members can browse each others profiles and 'tick' those they like. If the tick is mutual, the two members receive an alert. If not, nobody need know about that secret crush!

Members of TickMe are organised into three types of groups, two of which can be created by you and all are easy to join and invite others to:

  • Global groups are large groups that will be the first place you go when you join TickMe, and require no invitation to join. These are geographical areas into which you will automatically be entered upon creating your account.
  • User groups are groups which you can create and invite people to. These may be interests, workplaces, schools etc.
  • Private communities may be based on specialist interests or circles of friends, and to join you need an invitation from a current member. Anyone can create and invite people to a private community!

So how does the ticking work? You can award people up to three ticks depending on how much you like them, and you will be notified of the highest mutual 'tick-level':

  1. Hey
  2. Looking Good
  3. Hot Stuff!

So all you hotties aren't constantly getting messages from members who aren't up to your standards, members can only send messages and instantly chat to those they have mutually ticked to at least level 1.

Tick League

The site also has a 'tick-league' so that you can monitor how tickable you are! You can choose to display your tick scores and appear in the Tick League or simply view them in private in your control panel. Every member gets detailed information on ticks they have received from other site members including tick ratio, ticks per day, per week etc. But the best feature of the site is not knowing who the ticks have come from unless its mutual!

So now you know how, go get ticking!
