TickMe is a social networking phenomenon and the latest and hottest Group growing on the web. The site uses revolutionary technology to find out who has feelings for you and what these feelings are (friendship or more?) without ever leaving you open to embarrassment. The sites' technology allows you to only communicate with the people you want to and lets you meet, message and chat in a hassle free environment! TickMe is full of unique features that will blow your mind, please do not join if you are scared of having so much fun and meeting so many new people!!

Who can be a member of TickMe?

Anyone in the world aged 13 or over can be a member of TickMe. TickMe is a global meeting place that has members of all different ages and interests. Our different Global Groups and search functions allow members to easily find and join in with other like-minded individuals.

How much does TickMe cost?

TickMe is 100% free to join! We believe that meeting people should be free.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership all you need to do is go to My Details and click the Cancel Account button.

How do I change my account details?

To change your account details you simply login to your account and click on the 'My Details' tab in your control panel. Once in the 'My Details' page click on 'Edit My Details' and this page you can change all your personal details of your TickMe account. When you have finished editing your information please click the 'Save My Details' button to save your changes.

I've lost my Username/Password what do I do?

Don't Panic! On the Home Page there is a link next to the login box that says 'I've forgotten my password'. Click on this and enter you email address. This will reset your password and then send both your username and password to your chosen email account.

How do I change my password?

In your control panel click on 'My Details' and once on the page click 'Edit My Details' and on this page you can change your password.

What do the question marks () mean?

If you place your mouse cursor over these question marks you will find a helpful hint.

How do I change my profile?

To change your profile, login to your account and click the 'My Details' tab in your control panel. Once in the 'My Details' page click on the button that says 'Change My Profile'. You can then change all your profile details, once changed click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to save any changes.

How do I make my profile Private?

To make your profile Private click on the 'My Details' tab in your control panel and click the button that says 'Make Private'. Once Private, only people you have a mutual Tick level with can view your profile. Remember though, the longer you leave your profile Private, the longer nobody will Tick you!

How do I make my profile public?

To make your profile Private click on the 'My Details' tab in your control panel and click the button that says 'Make Public'. Once public your profile is able to be viewed by everyone.

How do I change the main image on my profile?

To change the main image that appears on your profile click the 'My Details' tab in your control panel and once on this page click 'Edit My Details'. On this page you can upload a new main image.

How do I add or delete images on my profile?

To add or delete images or simply change which images you currently have uploaded, click on the 'My Details' tab in your control panel. Once on this page click on the 'Add more images' link and this takes you to the page to manage your images. Smile, remember - first impressions count!

What is a Global Group?

A Global Group is a Group where any member of TickMe can join. You can join Global Groups or start your own. Global Groups can be of any interest, Group, thing you wish! Once a member of a Global Group you can invite other members to join that Group when viewing their profile. When a member of a Global Group you can use the instant chat rooms to talk to other Group members.

How do I join a Global Group?

To join a Global Group you can browse and search Groups by clicking on the 'Groups' icon on the top navigation bar of the site and once on a Group page click 'Join Group'. You can also join Groups by being invited by other members of TickMe. You will be alerted of any invites to Groups in the 'My Invites' page in your control panel.

How do I leave a Global Group?

To leave a Group simply click on the 'My Groups' tab in your control panel and next to the Group you wish to leave click on the 'Group Options' and click 'Leave Group'.

What is a Private Group?

All TickMe members can start a Private Group, however to join other Private Groups you have to be invited. Private Groups can be of any interest, Group or thing you want! If you create a private group you become the owner of that group and have control over its description and image, which you can change whenever you like from the Owner Controls panel in My Groups. Members of your private group can invite their friends as well, so hopefully you will meet lots of nice new friends!

In a Private Group you can Tick your friends to show your feelings for them (friend or more?) without them finding out and you risking ruining your friendship! If the feelings are mutual then you will both find out and live happily ever after (fingers crossed!). When a member of a Private Group you can chat to other members in the Private Group using the instant chat feature and send invitations to other members to join the Group.

How do I join a Private Group?

To join a Private Group you have to be invited by a member of a Private Group. You will be alerted of any Invites you receive in the 'My Invites' page of your control panel.

How do I leave a Private Group?

To leave a Group simply click on the 'My Groups' tab in your control panel and next to the Group you wish to leave click on the 'Group Options' and click 'Leave Group'.

How do I Tick someone?

To Tick someone you have to be on the profile of the member you want to Tick. You can Tick them 3 different levels of Tick by clicking on the 3 different icons on their profile page. However, you can not reduce the Tick level within 24 hours of Ticking them.

How do I Un-Tick someone?

To Un-Tick someone simply go to the members profile page you wish to Un-Tick and click the 'UNTICK' button on their profile page.

How do I know who has Ticked me?

You only get told if someone has Ticked you if it is a mutual Tick (you have both Ticked each other). To see who has Ticked you, click on the 'My Ticks' tab in your control panel. On this page you can see who you have Ticked and what mutual Ticks you have, the mutual Ticks you have received since the last time you logged in will display in red.

What is a Mutual Tick?

When you have Ticked someone and they have Ticked you, it is called a mutual Tick. When you have a mutual Tick with someone you can then communicate with them. On your My Ticks page you can see all of your mutual Ticks, along with the level of mutual Tick. This is the level to which you have both Ticked. For example if you have Ticked someone 'Looking Good' and they have Ticked you 'Hot Stuff!' you will see 'Looking Good' as the mutual Tick level.

How do I join the Tick League?

Every member is automatically entered into the Tick League when they create a TickMe account. Your Tick scores will automatically be submitted into the Tick League on a daily basis. If you do not wish to take part in the Tick League and not submit your Tick scores you don't have to.

I don't want to be in the Tick League!

You do not have to be in the Tick League if you don't want to! To not submit your Tick scores into the Tick League simply click on the 'My Details' tab in your control panel and next to Tick Score click 'Make Private'.

How do I stop a member contacting me?

To block (stop) a member contacting you simply Un-Tick them by clicking the 'UNTICK' button on their profile page. On TickMe you can only receive messages from people you have Ticked, making sure you only receive message from people you want to!

What happens when I 'Block' a member?

When you press 'Block' when a user invites you to join a Group, the member which has invited you will then not be able to invite you to Groups in the future.

How do I un-block a member?

If you have blocked any members you will have a 'See my blocked members' link in My Invites. Click on that then click 'unblock' next to the name of the member you wish to un-block.
