TickMe is the embarrassment free social networking website and network which allows you to join groups, meet and chat with new and existing friends using a tick rating system ('TickMe service' 'TickMe' 'Site' ). TickMe is operated by TickMe Ltd. ('TickMe' 'Us' 'We' 'the Company'). By using the TickMe Service you ('the User') accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the 'Terms of Service' 'Terms and Conditions' 'Terms of Use'), whether or not you are a registered member of TickMe. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete any portions of these Terms of Service at any time without further notice. If any changes are made, we will post the changes to these Terms on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the Terms and Conditions effective date. Your continued use of the Web site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service. TickMe is not responsible for any user generated content uploaded or posted by TickMe members or any non-managed TickMe service.

You must be 13 years or older to use the TickMe Service. By registering for the TickMe Service, you represent and warrant that you are 13 or older and that you have the capacity to understand, agree to and comply with these Terms of Service. It is your responsibility to provide true, accurate and complete registration information to be a TickMe member ('Member').

TickMe may terminate, suspend your membership, restrict your access to certain areas of the site or delete any inappropriate material posted on the site, at any time, at our sole discretion, without notice if we suspect or prove you are under the age of 13 or have violated any of these terms and conditions.

Fun for All

TickMe will not tolerate disruptive activity online, such as persistent off-topic comments and postings or statements that incite others to violate these Terms and Conditions or participate in illegal activities. Our participants want to chat, meet people, using our Services in a positive environment.

TickMe does not allow posting or use of computer programs that contain destructive features such as: viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or bots for the use of scrolling, showing multiple screens, and other activities that can be disruptive to online communication.

It is forbidden to falsely impersonate any TickMe member of staff or any person that is not you.

You must not take active steps to increase your tick rate, page hit counter or search result ranking by purposeful repetitive use or page refreshing techniques or engage in any other activity that will affect your status in a way which is unfair to other members. Any users found to be doing such activities will have their membership terminated without warning.

TickMe reserves the right to change the rating or re-categorize all user-created areas.

You are Responsible

As a member you are liable and responsible for all your activities and actions whilst using the TickMe service and any associated internet services. You are fully responsible for anything you post, say or publish.

TickMe offers functionality for users to create their own areas of the site (e.g. global groups, private communities, personal profiles and more). TickMe takes no responsibility for any content on these user created pages or any tick ratings that users have performed on the site and their methods for playing the tick rating system.

By becoming a creator or host of these user-created areas you agree to and uphold these Terms and Conditions on creating your Service.

Some users may post Internet website links in their area. TickMe is not responsible for the content on the websites associated with the links you may view.

Some content and links on the Internet may contain adult content and may not be suitable for children. We encourage parents to join their children as they surf and explore the Internet.

The TickMe Domain areas are not designed as the primary places to store any materials; you are responsible for creating backups of materials you post to TickMe such as photos, documents, video and software. TickMe is not responsible for loss of access to, or deletion or alteration of any materials included in any Communication Service.

All content that a member publishes to their profile (including text and pictures) is considered to be part of the public domain and the Internet. It is not possible to control or monitor against the theft of any element that goes to make up your profile and as such you should be aware that any information or content that you post is freely available to the public. TickMe is not responsible for any theft or infringement resulting directly or indirectly from the use of the TickMe Services.

You are fully responsible for any actions you may take based on advice or information you receive online. Use your own good judgment when evaluating information provided through any Communication Service, remember that the information provided could be from people at any age and experience level. The decision to conduct transactions with anyone is your own and you should conduct your own research prior to making any decisions.

TickMe takes no responsibility for any infringement of your content by any site members or visitors. All content such as photos, text, videos and documents are uploaded at members own risk.

TickMe reserves the right to remove at any time, without notice or explanation, any member account or user-created Service or any particular posting that violates these Terms and Conditions.

Don't Break the Law

You may not use the TickMe Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You are governed by the laws of your country and must not enter into any act which would be considered illegal by such laws. International users agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content, including laws regulating the export of data from the United States or your country of residence. You cannot use the TickMe Services to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or information.

Do not upload files or post messages that contain photos, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity or any other applicable law unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents. TickMe is not responsible for any use of anything you say or post.

Do not upload files or photos, software or other material that may be considered to be pornographic, vulgar, political, or offensive to any other users.

Do not post any materials (including software and other information, including links to other websites) that could harm (or is designed to harm) other users' computers or would allow others to inappropriately access software or Websites.

TickMe is not responsible for any use of anything you say or post.

Show a Bit of Respect

As a TickMe member we encourage you to show respect to other members and site visitors by not participating in acts of abuse, stalking, harassment, threatening behavior or otherwise violate the rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.

TickMe encourages good behaviour on the site to ensure enjoyment for all. The TickMe Service allows users to create their own user-created groups, chat rooms and profiles. The creators of such pages/areas act as hosts and as a host has the authority to ban a user from their area if they violate any of their terms and conditions or the sites terms and conditions. As a participant in these user-created areas you agree to bind to the rules of that area.

Hosts and/or the staff who manage the TickMe Services may eject or ban users, as well as remove postings that violate these Terms and Conditions.

You may not redistribute images, photos or any personal data that you have found, copied or downloaded from a TickMe member page or any other page hosted on the TickMe server. It is important you respect the privacy of others.

No Spamming!

To 'spam' is to send irrelevant and identical submissions to as many people through a communication service such as discussion groups, mailing lists, communities or any other online message service. None of our users like it, so please don't do it! Usually such postings have nothing to do with the particular topic of the group or are of no real interest to those on the mailing list.

Spamming is against the law and is a violation to users' privacy. TickMe reserves the right to immediately terminate, without notice any or all the TickMe services of any member suspected or proven to be spamming.

The Communication Services areas may be used to provide supplemental information regarding your own business as part of social networking and getting to know other users (provided you do not use spam to provide this information); however, the Communication Services areas are not designed to be used as the primary mechanism for operating your business or providing core information about your business. Any use of the Communication Services for commercial purposes is solely at your own risk and TickMe has no liability for such use.

The TickMe Service is a service made available for your personal, non-commercial use only. Any space or function provided to you by TickMe is for your own personal use. You may not sell, license, exchange or barter any space provided to you within any Communication Service for any purpose including, without limitation, selling, licensing, exchanging or bartering space for advertisements.

General Stuff

Despite being our priority to offer our members the fastest downloads, server speeds, server up-time and software availability, TickMe does not offer any SLA (Service Level Agreement) or any guarantee in relation to Service up-time or availability for any Service, Product or Premium Subscription Service. All Services provided are on an 'as is' basis.

TickMe reserve the right to add, remove or amend any feature or Service at any time without notice, explanation or liability without limitation. TickMe reserves the right to increase or reduce the price or alter the content or features of any Premium Subscription Service or Product without prior notice, explanation or liability.

Away from the Site

TickMe are not responsible for any activity between individuals who have met on the site.

If you agree to meet up with someone you have met on the TickMe site, it is vital that you tell someone where you are going, giving them all the information of who you are meeting. If it is the first time you have met that person, make sure it is in a public place. Remember if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, simply walk away. It's your choice whether you choose to continue any communication away from the website, if you don't feel happy about it - Don't do it!
